Our group held the 20th Anniversary and Annual Commendation Conference

Golden monkey lingers upon the good harvest year, and colorful phoenix crows for a flourishing spring. In the evening of February 11th, our Group held the annual commendation conference and entrepreneurial 20th anniversary in Ningbo Shangri-La Hotel. Nearly one thousand colleagues from Ningbo, Yiwu and Shantou gathered together to celebrate the twenty years’ standing together through thick and thin and look forward to a new milestone and glory.

The conference firstly commended the Group’s 2016 annual excellent staffs. Ling Li from Sellers Union and Yunyan Jiang from Union Home won the Group’s “Outstanding Achievement Award”. 36 people such as Xi Zhu from Sellers Union were awarded the “Excellent Business Award”. 21 people such as Lin Hong from the Group’s Financial Management Department got the award of “Best Service Award”, and 17 people such as Xiaomei Sun from Sellers Union won the “Rising Star Award”. Besides, 6 departments such as Products Online Department and some colleagues such as Bo Hu respectively won the “Logistics Business Promotion Award” from Port to Port Logistics and the “Tourism Business Promotion Award” from U Tour Trip.

This year is our Group’s entrepreneurial 20th anniversary, and at the conference, 12 staff who have been working in Sellers Union Group for more than 15 years accepted the pure gold commemorative coins of Sellersunion entrepreneurial 20th anniversary as the representatives of 67 staff who have been working here for more than 10 years. President Patrick Xu awarded the commemorative coins personally to appreciate their unremitting hard working.

President Mr. Xu combed the three stages of the development of our company firstly. Sellers union got started in 1997, and our company was in the initial pioneering stage with rapid growth until 2003. During 2004-2010, we firstly created the subsidiary model in the industry, and then set up some companies such as Global Union, Union Source, Union Chance and so on. The enterprise strength got a rapid growth for experiencing six or seven years’ development with high speed. After 2011, the subsidiary model and operation management mechanism got more and more matured, and new subsidiaries produced continuously. With the business’s sustained and rapid development, the enterprise entered the collectivized standard operation stage and the industry influence obviously expanded. At present, Sellers Union Group owns a foreign trade elite team with a scale of one thousand people, and the business scale has been among the top 10 in Ningbo export. Our Group has developed into the leading corporation of Ningbo foreign trade and one of the city’s top 100 integrated enterprises whether the operation model or business scale.

President Mr. Xu said that after the comprehensive analysis of the elements such as new and old markets as well as the orders from new and old customers, the Group’s subsidiaries actively put forward an annual growth target of no less than 15%, and some new business sectors with a higher growth target makes him encouraged. The layout of current Group business matrix is reasonable, and the business development is relatively stable. More than 10 professional product series have formed a strong competitiveness. The export volume of cross-border e-commence increases doubly during last two years, and the export volume of 2017 is expected to exceed 40 million US dollars. All of these are the very important growth poles of the Group in the future. In recent years, the Group has invested in the import chain of consumer goods, international logistics, customized tourism, film and television culture and other projects in succession, which are the potential projects of the Group’s nonlinear growth plan in the future. The Group has involved in a number of equity investment funds, studied and invested directly on foreign trade project.Group also considers to source competitive products to explore domestic electricity business. All of these are the abundance and supplement of group business. In the future, the Group would continue to focus on the foreign trade business, pay attention to customer value, balance the business boundaries and break the boundaries of the industry while attach great importance to the professionalization. Group would actively build an ecosystem of “Foreign Trade +” to realize a healthy and organic company development in the future.

The year of 2017 is the Group’s entrepreneurial 20th anniversary, and in such a special moment, President Mr. Xu imaged the future for the group and all the members. As the leaders of the enterprise, especially the decision-making executives, the visual field capabilities of management are quite crucial. Every enterprise manager has to strengthen the five abilities of learning, execution, thinking, communication and socializing, and also maintains a good working condition constantly. The managers should serve the subordinates at any time, and know how to listen and energize them. What’s more, they should work harder,  be fair and impartial, and earnestly fulfill the duties of corporate leadership.

After listening to the President’s passionate New Year speech, the celebration party was officially kicked off during the sign language dance of “Heart of Thanksgiving”. The Group’s subsidiaries and departments dedicated wonderful self-wrote, self-directed and self-acted wonderful performances for everyone. At the party, all the members encouraged each other and appreciated the company of workmates all the way. The party aroused all the warm memories and touching everyone. At this moment, we were not only workmates and partners, but also a loving family.

The celebration party soon came to an end, but the feeling of warmth, happiness, pride and passion were echoed among every Sellers member. During the past period, all members dared to be the first and kept progressing. For the coming future, we are well prepared with full of energy and high aims!
